HLA Quality Program

HLA is observant of ISO 9001, 17100 and 18841, due to which we establish rigorous control standards in every project to guarantee a high-quality service. We work with native linguists to ensure the highest quality and the best result. The most suitable team of specialized professionals is assigned to each project. The selection is based on the specialty and specific skills set of each professional.

HLA ATC ISO Certification Mark

Our production process

We appoint a dedicated Project Manager (PM) who is responsible for establishing working guidelines for the entire professional team involved in each project.

The PM has the tools to address each need that arises. Our goal is to work efficiently, updating and improving processes to meet the time and quality standards our clients expect from us.

All of the processes followed at HLA projects are standardized according to the ISO 9001, 17100 and 18841 standards. It is thanks to these standards that we can provide not only quality in each translation, interpretation, layout and dubbing project but also in security and traceability of the information from and to each client.

Our quality program is based on three pillars for which we have developed proprietary tools: selection, training and monitoring.

Hispano Language Advisory Profile

HLA Profile

This is our selection platform. A dedicated manager coordinates the multilingual search processes and selection of professional linguists and subject matter experts. As part of the process, each candidate must pass different evaluations according to their specialty in order to be able to join our teams of HLA translators, proofreaders, editors and interpreters. This is key for us to be able to create specialized work teams in the different areas and services we offer.

Hispano Language Advisory Uni

HLA Uni

This is our internal training system. On this e-learning platform, we include different technical and linguistic trainings that every linguist must pass to meet the required quality standards.

Only after completing the required programs can they start working with us. We provide specific training on translation tools and quality control. Our training tool is constantly updated thanks to the information obtained in our monitoring program.

Additionally, we use this platform to create client-specific training regarding client preferences, special procedures, and more. The key difference between this and a simple debriefing is that with this platform we can monitor the actual understanding of complex sets of instructions or other key content.

Hispano Language Advisory Lookout

HLA Lookout

HLA Lookout is our systematic monitoring and follow-up program for linguists in

HLA. An auditor evaluates project quality and develops an action plan in accordance with our continuous improvement policy. After that, new training opportunities are created, which are then included as part of the regular program at HLA Uni.

Both HLA Uni and HLA Lookout services are free tools for our collaborators. This is one of the main reasons why our linguists want to work regularly and, in some cases, exclusively with us. This is also what allows us to guarantee consistency, quality and availability in all projects.
